MyAccess consists of the MyDesk Direct Connect and Presented Apps services.

Service Supported Platforms Description

MyDesk Direct Connect

Windows/Internet Explorer only! Use this service if you want to connect to your Progressive PC from your personal Windows PC. MyDesk Direct Connect requires that you log in via the MyAccess Portal and your Progressive PC is turned on and connected to the Progressive network. MyDesk can not access a machine stuck at the BitLocker prompt, in Sleep mode, etc.

Presented Apps

Multiple devices and platforms This is the a solution that replaced the previous MyApps solution. Use this service if you want to run common presented applications (ie Word, Excel, IE) from your personal iOS, Android or Windows devices. Unlike MyDesk Direct Connect, you do NOT need to use the MyAccess Portal to access Presented Apps after the initial setup in the Horizon client.

Note: You can use MyDesk via Presented Apps to connect to your Progressive PC, as long as it is turned on and connected to the Progressive network. If your personal computer is a Windows PC and MyDesk will be your primary method of remote access, we strongly recommend that you use MyDesk Direct Connect instead of going through Presented Apps, since performance is much better.
